In order for its customers to meet the demands for safe and quick mooring, unmooring, and line-tending operations with reduced crews, SEC delivers many sizes of the frequently demanded and most used multi-purpose chocks from stock. This is also the case for the warping rollers, which are delivered in a maintenance free design as standard. For safety reasons, the design of the double bollards (according to DIN) takes for granted the commonly used figure-of-eight belaying, which results in a load in each tube that can be higher than the maximum breaking load of the rope.

Furthermore, SEC can deliver various types of fairleads to help prevent damage to the mooring lines caused by extreme line angles to and from the mooring equipment.

The standard SEC roller-fairleads will help reduce wear in comparison to the use of multi-purpose chocks. Upon request and in mutual consultation, SEC has the ability to offer the customer additional service in designing custom-made pieces of mooring equipment by adapting the SEC standard types of mooring equipment.

Based on predetermined mooring arrangement designs and/or the need or wish to have mooring equipment that can be used for different mooring purposes, SEC is always willing to advise concerning a solution.
